Terms of service

1. What the service is

You send a message in your own language. It reaches her in Thai. She replies in Thai and you read it in your language. Translation is by ThaiPo, and the women you can write to are real people who work at the bars here and linked their own accounts by choice. Every woman here is 20 or over, and you must be 18 or over to use it (section 2). How they joined, how that is checked, and how anyone is removed is under Safety.

Passing messages between the two of you and translating them is the heart of it. Four other things are possible here and each has its own section below: you can buy her a lady drink, buy something from the Shop, sponsor her, and have a video call with her.

2. Your account

You must be 18 or over to use Up To You Ka, and you confirm it when you sign up. You can sign in with an email address or a supported sign-in provider. Keep your details accurate and your password to yourself. One account per person.

3. Free messages, and paying

• You get a small number of free messages every day, so you can try the service before paying anything. They refresh each morning at 9am Thai time. The allowance covers your whole account rather than resetting per person you write to.
• What she writes back never uses them up, so a reply costs you nothing and cannot use up your free messages. There is also a limit on how many different women you can open a conversation with in a day while you are still free.
• After that, you keep writing with a Pro pass, or with the messages a lady drink adds (section 4). Buying anything here also lifts the limit on how many different women you can write to. Current prices are shown on the home page, on What it costs, and at the point you are asked to pay, in Thai Baht (฿).
• Pass payment is handled by ThaiPo through Stripe. We never see, handle or store your card details. A pass is ThaiPo Pro. It pays for AI translation, which costs real money on every message in both directions, and for the other things a pass gives you here, listed in section 7. Your pass works across ThaiPo wherever you use it.
• A Pro pass is a single payment for 30 days. It is not a subscription. It does not renew, no card is kept on file for it, and there is nothing to cancel: it simply runs out on the date you were told, and you are only ever charged again if you choose to buy another. Buying another while one is still running adds to the end of it. We do not do part-period refunds on a pass you have started. Lady Sponsorship works differently, and section 5 covers it.
• Prices can change. A change never affects a pass you have already bought, only what the next one costs.

4. Lady drinks, video calls and the Shop

Separately from a pass, you can put a real soft drink on her bar's till, pay for a video call with her in drinks, and buy things from the Shop. All of them are optional, none is ever automatic, and you are never charged for any of them unless you ask.

• A lady drink is a real, non-alcoholic drink. We sell it to you and buy it from her bar, which rings it in and serves it to her, and she earns her usual commission on it exactly as she would if you were standing at the bar. Alcohol cannot legally be sold online in Thailand, so a drink bought here is always a soft one. Each drink also adds messages you can send. What you are buying is that till entry and those messages, not a promise about how she reacts to it.
• A video call you ring costs two lady drinks at her bar's price. They are held on your card when it rings and charged only once you have been talking for a minute. If she does not answer, the hold is released and nothing is charged. A call runs 10 minutes, and each further 10 minutes costs two more drinks at the same price, charged to your saved card when you tap to add them. Translation on a call she invited you to costs two drinks at the same price for each 10 minutes, charged to your saved card when you tap to turn it on. Section 10 has the rest.
• Shop items are sold by us. We buy each one from the partner bar, which hands it over at the bar or has it delivered by courier to the address you give us, with the delivery fee shown before you pay.
• Prices and stock are per venue and can change. If something is out of stock or a bar cannot fulfil what you bought, we refund that item in full.
• Refunds. Anything we have not yet handed over, we will refund if you ask. Once an item has been handed over or delivered it is yours and is not refundable unless there is something wrong with it. A refund on one item does not cancel the rest of an order, and the rest still stands.
• Payment for all of these is processed by Stripe and arranged through ThaiPo, like a pass. Card payments may be charged in pounds or in your own currency, at about the same amount as the price in baht; the payment page shows the exact amount before you pay. A card payment for a drink or Shop order usually shows on your statement as MM* UPTOYOUKA; other payments show ThaiPo. We never see your card.

5. Lady Sponsorship

Lady Sponsorship is a monthly subscription for one named lady, at ฿4,990 a month. ThaiPo bills it through Stripe: the first payment is taken at checkout and it renews every month until you cancel. You agree to those renewals when you start it. A sponsorship started at an earlier price keeps the price it was agreed at. You can sponsor more than one lady; each has its own charge and cancellation.

• A paid sponsorship includes unlimited translated messages with that lady, access to her shared private sponsor gallery, and a sponsor badge. It does not use your free or purchase-earned message allowance. Pro access to other ladies, drinks and gifts are separate.
• It pays for her gallery and your messages with her, and nothing else. It is never payment for meeting her or for sex, and section 8 applies to it in full.
• Her sponsor posts are shared with all her sponsors. There is no promised number of posts, posting schedule, reply, response time, call, meeting or exclusive relationship. Her existing public profile remains available as before.
• Cancel renewal any time in Account > Lady Sponsorships. Your paid benefits continue until the displayed end date. An unpaid renewal does not extend access. Cancelling renewal does not itself refund the current paid month.
• If she leaves the platform, new sales and renewals stop and we refund unused paid time from the date her sponsorship becomes unavailable. We do not transfer your sponsorship to another lady. Use the Contact page about a billing error or a sponsorship affected by blocking; access stops immediately when a block is known to us and renewal is cancelled while we review any refund due.
• Sponsor content must be nonsexual. Sexual content, nudity intended for sexual gratification, and paid sexual services are not permitted. A sponsorship does not entitle anyone to demand content, private contact details or personal time.

6. Her messages are never taken away

When your free run ends, or when your pass runs out, you lose the ability to send. You never lose the ability to read. Every message she has written to you stays visible to you for as long as your account exists. We will not put words a woman has already written behind a payment, at any price, for any reason.

7. Replies are not guaranteed

The women here are people with jobs and lives, not staff answering a queue. Some reply quickly, some slowly, some never. We do not pay anyone to reply, we do not write replies on anyone's behalf, and there is no bot pretending to be a person. A pass buys you unlimited messages to every woman here, translated both ways; a read receipt, so you see when she has opened your conversation; a place ahead of customers without a pass (her sponsors aside) in the list of customers the women browse when they look for someone to message, unless you have switched off Messages from ladies in Account; and a Pro mark on your conversation in her inbox, with an earlier “your turn” reminder to her (after one day rather than two) when she has read your message and not answered. It does not buy her reply, her time or her attention. She decides whether to answer, and no refund is owed because someone did not write back.

8. How to behave

Be a person she would want to hear from. The full conduct rules are under Safety and they are part of these terms. The things that end an account fastest:

• This is not an escort service and not a way to arrange paid sex. Do not solicit, offer, negotiate or arrange commercial sex here, and do not advertise it. That holds whether the money is named or implied, and whether it is called a gift, a fee, a monthly allowance or anything else. It holds whether the conversation happens here or is moved somewhere else to finish. Lady Sponsorship pays for her gallery and messages and is never payment for meeting her or for sex.
• No threats, harassment or abuse. Do not insult, degrade, bully or threaten her, and stop when she says no. Do not threaten to share her pictures or private details, or to report her to her bar, the police or her family. Sexual content is not permitted.
• Nothing involving anyone under 18, in any form. Nothing illegal, and nothing you are asking someone else to do that is illegal where she is.
• Do not ask for her LINE, WhatsApp, phone number, social accounts or any other way to reach her outside Up To You Ka, and do not keep messaging someone who has stopped replying. If she chooses to give you hers, that is her decision, not something to ask for.
• Do not use Up To You Ka to recruit anyone. That means no job offers, no asking a woman to leave the bar she works at, no inviting her to work at a bar or business you own, run or are opening, and no advertising or spam of any kind. The bars trust us with the women who work for them, and they only stay here while that trust holds. No probing, scraping or overloading the service.
• Do not arrange to pay a lady outside Up To You Ka. The drinks, gifts and sponsorships you buy here are what keep it running, and they pay her and her bar their share. Offering to send her money by bank transfer, PromptPay, PayPal, Wise or any other way instead of buying here is not allowed. You met her here: pay her here, or not at all.

We do not run a filter over what you write, and we are not going to: your messages reach her exactly as you typed them. We do review conversations for recruitment, for requests for contact details, for arranging to pay her outside Up To You Ka and for threats, harassment and abuse, using automated tools and a person. What we act on is the account. The women here can report a conversation and can block anyone, from their own phone, and a person reads every report. For those four rules a first breach gets a written warning, shown in the app and sent by email. A second breach closes the account without a refund. Anything involving a minor, and mass advertising or job offers sent to many women, closes the account without a warning first, and a ban is recorded against the person rather than the login.

9. Her messages and her pictures stay here

What she writes to you, the photographs she has chosen to show you, and any part of a video call are between the two of you. Do not repost, publish, forward or share any of it anywhere else, and do not record or screenshot a call. This is one of the few things on this service we cannot undo for her afterwards, which is why it costs an account rather than a warning.

You keep what you write. She keeps what she writes.

10. Video calls

A call happens one of two ways. She can send you an invitation, which you join from your conversation with her. Or you can ring her, but only when she has marked herself free for a call: you will see "Up for a video call right now" under her name, and she answers or declines on her own phone. There is no booking a call for later, and no way for us to place a call for you.

Ringing her costs two lady drinks at her bar's price. They are held on your card when it rings and charged only once you have been talking for a minute. If she does not answer, the hold is released and nothing is charged. A call you ring is translated while you speak and runs 10 minutes. In its last minute you can add another 10 minutes for two more drinks at the same price, charged to your saved card when you tap to add them, as many times as you like. If you do not, the call ends at 10 minutes. Joining a call she invited you to costs nothing, and it is a plain video call without translation. You can turn translation on for both of you for 10 minutes for two lady drinks at her bar's price, charged to your saved card when you tap to turn it on. In its last minute two more drinks at the same price keep it on for another 10, as many times as you like. When it runs out the captions stop and the call carries on.

Everything in section 8 applies on a call exactly as it applies in writing. On top of that: do not record a call, do not screenshot or film it, and do not share any part of one anywhere. A call is between the two of you. We treat a breach of this the way we treat abuse, and the account goes without a refund.

Calls are translated live, so section 12 applies to them too. It is AI translation and it can be wrong.

11. She can leave at any time

Anyone here can withdraw at any time. She tells her bar's management, or uses the Contact page, and she is removed and stays removed. Conversations with her end at that point. This is not something we can or would override, and it can happen mid-conversation.

12. Translations can be wrong

Translation is done by AI. It can be inaccurate, miss tone, or make something read more or less strongly than it was meant. Treat it as a good everyday translation rather than a precise one, and do not rely on it for anything legal, medical, financial or urgent. We are not responsible for misunderstandings a translation causes.

13. Your messages

What you write stays yours. You give us permission to store, translate and deliver it, which is what the service is, and nothing beyond that. What we keep and for how long is in the privacy policy. You are responsible for what you send.

14. Ending things

You can stop at any time. A pass has no subscription to cancel, so stopping is simply not buying another. A Lady Sponsorship is ended in Account, as section 5 says. You can delete your account and its messages yourself, straight away, from your Account page, and you do not need to ask us first. If you would rather a person did it, or you cannot sign in, the contact page reaches one. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and where it is reasonable to do so we will warn you first.

15. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to what you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here removes rights your consumer law gives you that cannot be waived.

16. Changes

We may change the service and these terms. If a change matters to you we will update this page and the date at the top, and say so in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.

17. Law

Thai law governs these terms. Nothing here takes away rights the consumer law of your own country gives you.

18. Contact

Anything at all, use the contact page and a person will read it.
